Tracing Paths

For this exercise, you will write out the paths based on the following image and any special instructions or circumstances per path. When finished, show the instructor your answers and move on to the “Terminus” experience.

1. Starting from the root, write out the path to the exams directory.

2. Starting in the sarwar’ directory, write out the path to the labs` directory.

3. Starting in /usr/lib/, write out the relative path to the passwd file.

4. Starting from the ‘students’ home directory, write out the relative path to the letter file.

5. What is the absolute path to the solutions directory?
